Arrival of Guests
This is the most popular time to have the piper play. The sound of the pipes can lead guests to the venue and provide entertainment prior to the service.
Marie’s Wedding, Ho Ro My Nut Brown Maiden, Highland Laddie, The Bonnie Lass of Fyvie are some of the traditional tunes often played for before the service
Welcoming the Bride
Herald the arrival of the Bride and Bridesmaids and lead them down the aisle or to the service area.

Signing the Marriage Register

Precede the new couple as they leave the Church or service area to greet their friends and relatives.
Bright and rousing tunes such as The Cock O’ the North, Rab’s Wedding, Hundred Pipers and Bonnie Dundee are traditionally played for this final part of the service.
At the Reception
